War & Witness

1 Peter 2.11-25 lays down a powerful challenge to Christians as God's new priesthood. Honoring God is centrally about making war with the lusts of the flesh and maintaining a powerful witness to the world. In this Thanksgiving message, Pastor Ben encourages us to render thanks to God by embodying our priestly calling to separate from sin, subvert unbelievers' slander, and submit to appropriate governing authorities, even if it means we must patiently endure injustice as Jesus Himself did.
