Under Shepherds

At the end of his first letter, Peter calls on church elders to embody God's purpose as shepherd-leaders who feed and defend God's flock with humility and grace. Anticipating persecution, Peter wants church elders to be ready and steady as they lead the churches through these turbulent waters.
