⚠ AWANA Resumption Update

As we approach the holiday season and with a consideration for the ongoing presence of Samaritan's Purse Volunteers on the Calvary Campus, we have made the decision to delay the resumption of our traditional AWANA Program until January 10th, 2024. We understand that this may not be the news that everyone was hoping for, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate these unique circumstances.

We believe this decision is in the best interest of our church community, as it allows us to focus on providing support to the Samaritan's Purse Volunteers who are working tirelessly to help our community.

During this period, however, we want to assure you that we have several fun and engaging events planned to keep everyone connected. We understand the importance of maintaining our sense of community, and we are committed to offering opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth.

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we adapt to these changing circumstances. Our primary goal is to continue to foster a strong and loving church family, and we are confident that, with your support, we can achieve this even during these unique times.

Please stay tuned for updates on the upcoming events, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns. Your feedback and input are always valuable to us.

Thank you for being a part of our AWANA family, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and when AWANA resumes on January 10th, 2024.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

At Calvary our mission is to shine the light of Christ into a spiritually darkened world. As part of our commitment to reaching out locally, we are proud to host our Wednesday night AWANA program, our largest local outreach and discipleship effort, designed for kids aged 4 years old through 5th grade.

Join us every Wednesday night as we kick off the evening with a delicious dinner served at 5:00 pm - and there's no charge! At 5:40 pm, we gather for opening ceremonies, and shortly thereafter, the kids and students are divided into age-appropriate groups to delve into the study, hearing, and discussion of God's Word. The evening concludes at 7:20 pm, immediately following the closing ceremony.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Calvary's Wednesday night AWANA program!

How AWANA got started...

Calvary's AWANA program was founded in 2008 by Allison Bishop. The establishment of this vital ministry has served many families since it's founding. Under Allison leadership, Calvary's AWANA program has grown from a group of about a dozen kids and youth to over 250 local young people being reached and discipled each week as God's unshakeable Word is sown into the fertile soil of their young hearts. Allison served as the AWANA Director until the 2019 AWANA year, with the rising of two new AWANA Director's, Alicia Wilson and Laura Young.

We need you...
