The Mediator & The Messiah

In Deuteronomy 9, Moses is promising Israel success in their coming invasion. In doing so, he lays a foundation for some fundamental theological realities that we see more clearly and more broadly throughout the New Testament. Moses highlights the glory of God as it is expressed through the grace of God toward consistently sinful Israel. And key to God’s grace is the need for a mediator between a holy God and His thoroughly sinful people. In this message, Pastor Ben will explore parallels between Israel's sinfulness and the sinfulness of all humanity. And we will see how Moses, mediating between God and Israel, points us to the Jesus, the ultimate Mediator and Messiah.
