Mere Christianity

And in the second half of Luke 10, Jesus is instructing God’s peopleon the two essential, core elements of Christian faith. The story of the Good Samaritan and the story of Martha complaining about Maryappear, on the surface, to be isolated and disconnected episodes. But Luke deliberately put these two scenes one after the other to make the point that true, core, essential, or Mere Christianity is defined by love and compassion for the world driven by communion with Christ Himself. In this message, Pastor Ben calls us to renew our commitment to living out these two essential elements of what C.S. Lewis would have recognized as, Mere Christianity.
