Still Strong

Joshua 13-21 is a long series of technical boundary descriptions as Joshua allocates the land to Israel's tribes in fulfillment of the promise God made to Abraham. But embedded in these descriptions are important stories that inspire God’s people more than 3,000 years later. The story of Caleb in Joshua 14 & 15 is one of these. It specifically highlights the indomitable faith of Caleb, and his family, as the ideal Israelite family. In this message, Pastor Ben invites us to contemplate the Advent theme of hope as we see it embodied in the life and faith of Caleb, who, at 85 years old is Still Strong. May all of God's people be encouraged, strengthened, and inspired to follow the Lord fully.
